The première of the film “Only You”, sponsored by Sırmarup, was held on 11 Mart 2014, with the bottles specially dressed for the film.

In this scope, all potable water needs the Presidential CyclingTour organized for the 48th time between 22 April – 29 April 2012 was provided by Sırmarup. One of the most important 17 sports organizations of the world, organized by the Turkish Federation of the Directorate-General of Youth and Sports, consisting of 8 different legs; the Presidential Tour was concluded at the finish line on Istanbul Bosporus Bridge on 29 April 2012.
Joined by 200 athletes from 25 teams, Sırmarup met all vital water requirements of the participants at the checkpoints it established over the 1094 km track. In General Individuals, Konya Torku Şekerspor’s Gabrovski came first, Pro Team Astana’s Alexandr Dyachenko came second, Caja Rural’s Danail Andoneov Petrol came third.
“SIRMA” was the beverages sponsor and met the youth at “BOĞAZİÇİ UNIVERSITY SPORTS FESTIVAL”, organized for the 31st time between 12-15 MAY as the greatest student organization of Turkey. The Festival was joined by thousands of students from many universities, being 40 from foreign countries.
Covering approximately a 250 km portion of the Historical Lycia Road, ran for one leg each day, completed in 6 days, the Lycia Road Marathon has succeeded to have a very special place among the main ultra marathon destinations in the world with the distinguishing characteristics of its track.
Sponsored by us, the first ultra marathon of Turkey, Lycia Road Ultra Marathon has a very important position in international rankings. To participate in the greatest marathon of the world, “Marathon Du Mont Blanc”, contestants need to get 10 points in a year. Contestants who finish Lycia Road Ultra Marathon get 3 points for Marathon du Mont Blanc.
Sırma Su provided the most vital need of marathoners in Lycia Road Ultra Marathon, which was participated by many international marathoners. Consequently, it was aimed to create a brand loyalty with the participants.
Trakya University’s Social Sciences Vocational Academy Public Relations Program has organized a Cycling tour to draw attention to the problems of the disabled. At the event, organized with the support of Edirne Association of Protection and Cooperation for the Physically Disabled, Educational Practices and Vocational Education Center, and Edirne Nature Sports Club (EDOSK); the people with disabilities and cyclists pedaled to overcome the obstacles.
The Public Relations Program, drawing attention on social problems with the practical events it holds, organized a Cycling tour with the slogan “pedals that turn obstacles to freedom” to bring forward the problems of the disabled living in Edirne. In the event, starting in front of the protocol house at the banks of Meriç (Maritsa) River, the disabled and the cyclists hit the pedal to overcome the obstacles on the 300 meter-track on the Bosnaköy road. Stating that they were happy to join the event, Erol Adem Düzkes, head of the Edirne Association of Protection and Cooperation for the Physically Disabled, told that the public must be more aware of the problems of the disabled.
Participants were given printed t-shirts and distributed water by the sponsor, Sırmarup. The disabled took a souvenir photograph with the cyclists and the students. Erol Adem Düzkes, head of the Edirne Association of Protection and Cooperation for the Physically Disabled, Educational Practices and Vocational Education Center teacher Sedef Durma, and Edirne Nature Sports Club member of the board Ergun Gözet were given a certificate of appreciation for their contributions to the tour.
Sırmarup showed the attention they pay to infrastructure by becoming the sponsor to U 13 Football League. The league, which will be played with the title “Sırma U 13 League (Sırma U 13 Minikler Ligi)”, has 400 teams. Uniforms of the teams in Sırma U 13 League is provided by Sırmarup, and were distributed to our clubs in a ceremony at Burhan Felek Sports Complex joined by Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Chairman Mahmut Özgener, Sırmarup Chairman of the Board Davut Dişli, TFF 1st Deputy Chairman Lütfi Arıboğan, TFF Member of the Board Levent Kızıl, TFF Football General Coordinator Ersun Yanal and two of our FIFA referees, Hüseyin Göçek and Fırat Aydınus.
Organized for the 11th time this year, the tournament was joined by 21 national ladies’ tennis players from Turkey, Belgium, Hungary, Lithuania, Russia, Bulgaria and Croatia.

45. Turkish Presidential Cycling Tour was organized between 12-19 April by the Turkey Cycling Federation, under the patronage of President Mr. Abdullah Gül, with the support of Directorate-General of Youth and Sports. Being included in the International Cycling Union (UCI) and raised to the race category of 2.1, one of the most important races of the world, Turkish Presidential Cycling Tour was ran by 160 athletes from 23 countries and 20 teams. Started as President Abdullah Gül’s waving the start flag on April 12th in Istanbul Sultanahmet Square, in the 45th Turkish Presidential Cycling Tour, which is of great importance for the international promotion of Turkey; athletes of the most prestigious 18 professional teams of cycling from 23 countries, as well as those representing the German and Turkish national teams, a total of 160 athletes competed. The 8 legged, 1212 km race ended with a spectacular finale in Alanya. The race was won by South African Daryl Impey from the British Barloworld team with his no. 117 jersey with a time of 29.19.32. Barloworld team also won the “Team Award”. Daryl Impey also won the Sprint Leg (green jersey). Along the tour; General Ranking (yellow jersey) Sprint (green jersey) King of The Mountain (uphill – red jersey) and the Beauties of Turkey (turquoise jersey) awards were given. In the 45th Turkish Presidential Cycling Tour, where each team was represented by 8 athletes, a total of 150,000 EURO monetary award was given. The Turkish National Team, formed of young athletes, competed successfully with professional athletes. Miraç Kal became 9th in the final leg, where Uğur Marmara was the 69th in General Ranking among 108 athletes who could finish the race.
The 1660 mile sailing race, which was to start from Nice and end in Istanbul, was started on September 14th at 12:00. These races, joined by 30 competitors from various countries of the world, is sponsored this year by Istanbul 2010 European Cultural Capitol Agency.
